Born and raised in the heart of Goa, Panjim, Ryan Prazeres has been a dynamic presence in the travel and hospitality industry, both locally and internationally. His academic journey took him from Sharada Mandir School in Miramar to Don Bosco High School in Panjim, and then on to a transformative educational experience that spanned continents—from studying Electronics and Telecommunications engineering, to completing a BBA at Symbiosis, Pune, and finally earning a Masters in International Travel & Hospitality Management in London. Ryan's career in London imbued him with a global perspective, yet it was the call of his Goan roots that drew him back to start his entrepreneurial journey. He founded Piggy Hostels, a venture that quickly expanded to seven hostels under his leadership before a successful acquisition provided a 5x return on investment. This venture was a testament to his deep understanding of traveler needs and market dynamics, which he adeptly balanced with innovative service solutions.

A former maths nerd turned sports enthusiast, balance has always been part of Ryan's pursuits. His love for sports—especially basketball, in which he represented Goa at the national level—parallels his professional ambitions. His weekends are often spent exploring the natural beauty of Goa—from diving in the ocean to hiking local trails—all while making sure to indulge in some Goan culinary delights: Rissois, fish thali, and the iconic chicken cafreal. To Ryan, professional ethos equates to travel, adventure, and constant search for new experiences. This sense of adventure follows him into OneBoard, through which he aims to not only boost the charm of Goa as a place to visit but also cultivate forms of sustainable and creative tourism that can draw visitors from all over the world into the area.
