Standing atop Corcovado Mountain, the Cristo Redentor statue is an adrenaline rush like no other The panoramic views of Rio are breathtaking, and the hike up (or the convenient tram ride) is an adventure in itself. The Art Deco masterpiece is a must-see for any thrill-seeker or history buff.

While the escalators can be a bit challenging, the overall experience is well worth it for the tranquil atmosphere and beautiful vistas.

Visiting Cristo Redentor with kids was a wonderful experience The wheelchair-accessible vans and the Corcovado tram made it easy for our family to get there. The panoramic elevators and escalators (with some assistance) allowed everyone to enjoy the 360° views. The small chapel and souvenir shop at the top added a nice touch. It's a great, kid-friendly attraction with amazing views of the city.
