Introduction to Shri Mangueshi Temple
The Shri Mangueshi Temple stands as a testament to the state's rich spiritual and cultural heritage. Located in the picturesque village of Mangeshi, about 21 kilometers from the bustling capital of Panaji, this temple is a gem that shines brightly amidst the tropical landscape. As you approach the temple, the air is filled with the sweet scent of incense and the soft chirping of birds, setting the tone for a deeply spiritual experience. The temple itself is a marvel of architectural fusion, blending traditional Goan styles with subtle European influences, a reflection of Goa's unique historical tapestry. The Deepastambha, or lamp tower, illuminates the night sky during festivals, casting a magical glow over the surroundings. Inside, the Sabha Griha, with its intricate carvings and decorations, leads you to the Garbhagriha, where the serene form of Lord Manguesh, an incarnation of Lord Shiva, resides in the form of a linga. This is not just a place of worship; it's a living piece of Goa's history and culture, where every stone and every ritual whispers stories of the past. As you step into this sacred space, you are not just visiting a temple – you are immersing yourself in the essence of Goa.

Amazing Service
We had a very good Darshan. One of the few temples Built and lasted in Goa since the the Portuguese / Christian Era where they destroyed a lot of Hindu temples.
Amazing Service
I was a part of this church for just over 15 years and I miss it so much it is too painful to bear. Here in NC my Church resembles an elementary school from the outside. On the inside, there are no pews or kneelers - just chairs - and no candle stations. Everything is very modern and quite bare - although they do have the Stations of the Cross, a Crucifix above the altar and a small stylized gesso statue of the holy family.
Amazing Service
A very pleasant temple . Not too crowded , feel so calm and soothing inside the temple . Dress code to be followed
