Shri Mallikarjuna Swami Temple
Tucked away in the serene Sristhal village of South Goa, the Shri Mallikarjuna Swami Temple stands as a testament to the region's rich spiritual and cultural heritage. Nestled 7 km northeast of Chaudi in the Canacona taluk, this ancient temple is enveloped by the majestic mountains and natural beauty of the valley. Dating back to the 16th century, this sacred site is one of the oldest in Goa, refurbished in 1778 to preserve its historical grandeur. The temple's unique cylindrical wooden idols, adorned with metallic masks and accompanied by Trishula, evoke a sense of mystique and antiquity. As you step into the temple, the intricate wood and silver carvings and the beautifully sculpted pillars in the mantapa transport you to an era where the Natha Sampradaya once flourished, making this temple a hidden gem in the heart of Goa's lush landscape.

Amazing Service
What an awesome experience We had a blast at the Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple. The energy here is electric From the vibrant Darshans to the Break Darshan where you get to touch the Linga, it's all so intense and exciting. The temple premises are filled with smaller temples and shrines, and the chants and stories from the locals add to the magic. Definitely a place to visit with friends for an unforgettable spiritual adventure.
Good Service
Took my teens to the Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple and it was a fantastic family bonding experience. The temple is very safe and well-organized, with clear rules about dress code and gadget storage. The Break Darshan was a highlight, though it can get crowded. The kids loved the smaller temples and the story of the Pandavas. Great place for a family visit, just be prepared for the crowds during peak times. Highly recommend
