São Jacinto Island
Tucked away at the tidal mouth of the Zuari River in Goa, São Jacinto Island is a serene and picturesque gem that embodies the essence of tranquility and natural beauty. This tiny island, connected to the mainland by the Silver Gate bridge, is a haven for those seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Here, you can wander through quaint villages dotted with old Portuguese houses, some of which stand as testaments to the island's rich cultural heritage. The air is filled with the sweet songs of over 400 migratory and Indian birds from the Salim Ali bird sanctuary, while the abandoned lighthouse and the St. Hyacinth Church overlook the serene waters, creating a backdrop that is both historically significant and visually stunning. As the sun sets, the island transforms into a canvas of golden hues, making every moment a memorable one.

Good Service
Beautiful island in a peaceful location. Such a cozy little island that is inhabited by some Catholic families. These families have been living there for generations. Sadly, the government is eyeing this island to take over from this community, in the name of a naval base. We visited here today, morning. We loved the nature and beauty of the place. The view is very good. We roamed here. There is a school attached to the church.
Good Service
Beautiful and peaceful property. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a great time fishing and with the activity staff. Sanisha was great.
Amazing Service
A non-tourist bit of Goa - delightful. Sunday morning and we travelled along the road from the Zuari River Train Bridge to this small island in the Estuary of the River. It is connected to the mainland via a causeway, which we drove over and parked up by the Church, Sao Jacinto Church. After a visit to the Church we went for a short walk and past by colourfully painted houses, some in need of repair.
