Introduction to Sanguem River
In the heart of Goa, where the lush greenery of the Western Ghats meets the serene tranquility of rural landscapes, lies the Sanguem River, though it is more accurately referred to as the Selaulim River. This watercourse, nestled in the Sanguem taluk, is a testament to the region's natural and historical richness. The Selaulim River, which drains a catchment area of 227 km², flows gently through the picturesque terrain, eventually merging with the Uguem River to form the Zuari River. As you follow its path, you'll encounter the Salaulim Dam, a silent sentinel that regulates the river's flow, and the surrounding landscapes that beckon with their monochromatic splendor and secluded warmth. The river's banks are dotted with historical sites and natural wonders, including the majestic Dudhsagar Waterfalls and the ancient Usgalimal Rock Carvings, making every journey along its course a sensory and historical adventure.

Good Service
Assonora River and the Club Mahindra Assonora Resort were a hit with our kids The resort has a fantastic pool area with a lazy river, water slides, and a separate kids' pool. The Happy Hub is perfect for keeping kids entertained with table tennis, VR experiences, and a toddler den. Clean, safe, and plenty of activities – we had a great family vacation here.
