This place is next-level for history buffs The Rachol Fort, even though it's mostly in ruins, gives you these epic vibes of ancient battles and strategic importance. The archway and the dried-up moat are still pretty cool to see. Definitely worth a visit if you're into that sort of thing. 🏯🔥

Our visit to the Rachol Fort was a serene and intimate experience. Standing atop the hill, imagining the legendary battles, and strolling through the village of Rachol was incredibly romantic. The Rachol Seminary and the Church of Our Lady of Snows added to the charm, making this a memorable part of our trip.

For the price of nothing (it's free!), the Rachol Fort is a great value-for-money spot. It's not about the architecture anymore, but the history and the scenic views. Combine it with a visit to the Rachol Seminary, and you've got a full day of exploring. It's easily accessible from Margao, and the village has plenty of other historical monuments to check out. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
