Introduction to Parra Road

Imagine a road that's not just a path, but a canvas of rustic charm, painted with the vibrant hues of coconut palms and the gentle sway of paddy fields. Welcome to Parra Road, a hidden gem in North Goa that has captured the hearts of both locals and tourists alike. Nestled off the main highway, this picturesque road is a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, lined symmetrically with coconut trees that stand like sentinels, their leaves rustling softly in the breeze.Located just a stone's throw from the bustling town of Mapusa, Parra Road is a commute route between Mapusa and Anjuna, but it's so much more than that. It's a journey through time, with the historic St. Anne's Church and the quaint Holy Cross Chapel adding a touch of antiquity and spirituality. As you walk or bike along this narrow stretch, the scent of fresh earth and the sound of birds chirping create a symphony that makes you feel like you're in a Bollywood film – and you're not wrong, because this very road was immortalized in the movie 'Dear Zindagi'. Here, every moment feels like a frame from a perfect postcard, inviting you to soak in the tranquility and beauty of rural Goa.

Amazing Service

This a nice little café on one of Goa's most famous roads i.e. the Parra road. They have a decent seating space for a café and serve some amazing dishes like shakes, smoothies, sandwiches, waffles, canopy baskets, etc. The owners are friendly and interactive. Do check them out if you are nearby, you wont be disappointed:)

Amazing Service

This place has just the right vibe. Away from the maddening crowd, if you need a really quiet and peaceful lunch with a very homely touch, this is the place to go to. We loved the Mediterranean Chicken and the Grandma style Beef Curry which was recommended. The Chunky Pork, though, was simply amazing and very different. Another place in Goa to keep coming back to.

Amazing Service

Overall lovely food, people and ambiance. The hosts were super attentive and sweet and came to talk to us for a while. Their pancakes were also amazing. While we were leaving, they told us that they had just baked a batch of brownies and we decided to have some. They were utterly delicious.
