Panjim Municipal Garden
The Panjim Municipal Garden is a tranquil oasis that breathes life into the bustling capital city of Goa. This charming garden, once known as the Garcia da Orta Garden, is a tribute to the 16th-century physician who left his mark on Goa's history. As you step through its gates, you're enveloped by a tapestry of vibrant flowers and the soft rustle of leaves from ancient trees, offering a refreshing escape from the city's vibrant chaos.Located in the midst of Panjim's urban landscape, the garden is a hotspot for both locals and visitors. Children's laughter echoes through the air as they play on the lush green lawns, while their parents find solace in the serene atmosphere. The garden's centerpiece, a monument commemorating Vasco da Gama's historic voyage, stands as a poignant reminder of Goa's rich heritage. As the sun sets, the garden transforms into a peaceful haven, with the gentle glow of streetlights and the distant chime of Panjim's main church creating a mesmerizing symphony. Here, you can truly feel the pulse of Goa's unique blend of history, nature, and community.

Beautiful colonial style city, colorful buildings, casino & museum. I prefer solo trip to panjim, must try sea food and Joseph bar.
