Juve Fort
Tucked away in the verdant heart of North Goa, on the charming island of St. Estevam (also known as Juvem or Jua Island), lies the historic Juve Fort, a gem that whispers tales of a bygone era. Perched atop a hillock, this 17th-century fortress, built in 1668, commands a breathtaking view of the Mandovi River and the surrounding landscape. As you ascend the rough steps, the air thickens with history and the scent of green fields swaying in the breeze. The fort, named after St. Francis Xavier, boasts a small but impressive shrine to Christ the King, its arches and tall cross standing sentinel over the island. Here, the blend of natural beauty and historical significance creates a tranquil yet captivating experience, making Juve Fort an unmissable destination for those seeking to uncover the hidden treasures of Goa.

This place is lit Me and my squad had an amazing time exploring the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Fort. The vibes are so cool, with loads of history and some awesome views. We took tons of pics and even found some great spots to chill. Definitely recommend for a fun day out with friends. Plus, it's close to some awesome beaches and restaurants in North Goa.
Good Service
Took my teens here and we had a great family day out. The fort is rich in history, and the kids loved learning about it. The pathways can be a bit steep, but it's manageable with some caution. Safety-wise, it's getting better with new railings and repairs. We spent about 2 hours here, and it was a wonderful bonding experience. Highly recommend for families looking for a historical and safe outing.
