Satrem Waterfall

Overview

After an exhausting and challenging hike through the heart of the Western Ghats, you arrive at the Satrem Waterfall, deep in the Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary in Valpoi, Goa. The trail is filled with steep ascents and sharp descents and a lot of loose gravel. Climbing is particularly difficult, as there is little to hold onto. Once there, you see a majestic waterfall, nearly vertical from its peak. The water cascades into a stunning blue pool below, reminiscent of a peaceful seaside lagoon. The area around the falls is picturesque, with the waterfall enhancing the tranquillity of the surroundings.
