Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary
The Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary is a hidden gem that embodies the raw, untamed beauty of the Western Ghats. Spanning 211 square kilometers, this sanctuary is a dense, evergreen world where the sounds of the wilderness reign supreme. Here, the air is thick with the scent of moist deciduous forests, semi-evergreen groves, and the occasional hint of wild herbs and household spices. As you trek through its lush valleys and sky-touching mountains, the rustle of leaves and the chirping of birds like the Malayan night heron and the Nilgiri wood pigeon create a symphony that envelops you in nature's embrace. The sanctuary's crown jewels include the cascading Saivri and Mainapi waterfalls, their silvery streams glistening under the sunlight. With its rich fauna, including Indian gaurs, leopards, and the elusive black panther, and its historical temples and sacred groves, Netravali is more than just a sanctuary – it's a living, breathing tapestry of Goa's natural and cultural heritage. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a photographer, or just someone looking to connect with the wild, Netravali has a story to tell, and it's waiting for you to uncover it.

Good Service
Wonderful place. You have to walk a bit but worth going it.
Good Service
The overall area is nice. There are a couple of waterfalls also a sightseeing point but it needs a walk of 1km. Overall it's a good place, foggy atmosphere, good road condition.
Good Service
Amazing bike ride through the ghats and countryside of Goa from Benaulim to Netravali passing through quaint hamlets on the way.
