Overview
Mainapi waterfall, situated approximately 14km from Netravali village, is a sight to behold. While most waterfalls in the Western Ghats dry up during peak summers, Mainapi Waterfall continues to flow perennially, presenting a breathtaking sight to visitors. The trek to the bottom of the waterfall is adventurous and offers a mesmerizing view of the surrounding area. The waterfall is located in the Netravali wildlife sanctuary and to reach it, you have to trek through dense forests for about 5km from the sanctuary's entrance. The trek involves walking through the dense forest, climbing tough terrain, and navigating a couple of tricky slopes. Despite the risks, the experience is truly amazing.
