Overview
Dr. F.L. Gomes Garden is a public garden in Panaji, Goa. The garden is a tribute to the revolutionary thought leader, politician and economist Francisco Luís Gomes, who is respected in both India and Portugal. Situated opposite Mahavir Garden, this garden has smaller yet neatly manicured lawns and name-tagged flowering plants and shrub varieties. A towering statue of FL Gomes, with marble plaques on all sides, welcomes visitors. And with close proximity to Kala Academy, with an amphitheater, overall it offers a peaceful retreat and space for relaxation, cultural events and leisure activities within the city.
