Overview

Dona Paula is located on the sea stretch that spans from Panjim and Miramar to Dona Paula. The idyllic rocky tourist attraction lies at the spot where the Mandovi and the Zuari rivers meet and flow into the Arabian Sea at a distance of 1 km from this point. Apart from its natural beauty, one of the attractions at the Dona Paula Jetty is a whitewashed statue perched on the rocks near the ferry jetty. There is a legend behind the statue along with stories about the statue and how the name Dona Paula came about. Go find out what you can about the legend, and then get back to us, we will tell you the truth behind the Name and Statue.
