Chapora Fort
Perched atop a small hill, overlooking the serene Vagator Beach and the mouth of the Chapora River, stands the Chapora Fort, a testament to Goa's rich and tumultuous history. This fort, with its rugged laterite walls and steep slopes, has witnessed the ebb and flow of various rulers, from the Adil Shah of Bijapur to the Portuguese and the Marathas. As you ascend the hill, the panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and the lush countryside unfold like a canvas, painted with the vibrant hues of sunset. The air is filled with the gentle rustle of palm trees and the distant sound of waves crashing against the rocks below. Inside the fort, remnants of its storied past linger – crumbling barracks, bastions with cylindrical turrets, and the haunting mouths of secret escape tunnels. It's here, amidst these ancient ruins, that you can truly feel the pulse of Goa's history and its unyielding spirit. Whether you're a history buff, a nature enthusiast, or simply someone seeking a tranquil escape, Chapora Fort is a place where time stands still, and the essence of Goa comes alive.

Amazing Service
A great place to be with a great view. If you like photography, this is a must visit place. You can get an old fort, a hill and the sea in the same frame. Make sure u carry water bottles with you as the sellers there will rip you off. I visited the place by June 1st week and it was damn hot there. So a lot of sun screen will help.
Amazing Service
A natural green forest garden on the bank of Mandovi River. A nice peaceful serene place to ponder. This garden is maintained by the forest department. It has children play places with slides, swings, and many more. Decorated garden with flowers, fort wall, fish statue, and Bhagwan Mahavir statue in the middle.
Good Service
The approach to Chapora fort is a trek up the rocky slopes of the hill. Though not very steep, one needs to be careful walking up as there is no pathway. However, once on the top, the fort has amazing views of the coast. One can see all the way into Maharashtra to the North. The fort doesn't seem to be maintained for visitors as compared to the Reis Magos fort, but it's still worth visiting for the splendid views.
