Overview
The Banastarim Wetlands, is a large swamp and biosphere reserve on the Ilhas de Goa is fed by the Cumbarjua Canal. It’s a haven for bird watchers and if you are lucky, you may spot other wildlife too. Swimming is to be avoided due to sightings of crocodiles in the swampy waters.
