Overview

This heritage walk starts at the Miramar Circle and spans that part of Panjim which was once named after the important historic figure, Gaspar Dias. Prajal takes us on a journey through time, when Panjim was a pretty, well-laid out city with beautiful heritage buildings and a golden beach where families spent a quiet Sunday. ABOUT PRAJAL SAKHARDANDE Prajal Sakhardande teaches history at the Dhempe College of Arts & Science, Miramar, Panjim. He's a passionate teacher, a heritage activist and a champion of Goa 's precious heritage and culture. Prajal is also currently at the forefront of the battle to save the Mhadei river.
